MEMBERSHIP
Interested in joining?
This is what we ask of funding organisations.
Commit to change and our Alliance’s values.
These are at the heart of everything we do, and its important that funders uphold them when part of the Alliance.
Nominate up to three representatives.
These individuals will have access to decision-making spaces within your organisation. They will represent your interests within the Alliance, attending Alliance meetings, and serving as our main point of contact.
Offer time, expertise and resources.
Members will need to engage and commit an appropriate amount of time to pushing forward the Alliance, attending meetings and events, and pushing the strategy forward, sharing data and planning future activities.
Complete The Racial Justice Audit.
Members complete the audit within six months of joining, enabling funders to analyse their portfolios, and develop targets and strategies to ensure they are supporting race equality work.
Contribute financially by paying a membership fee.
Members contribute annually according to a suggested scale based on funders annual giving value. The purpose of the membership contribution is to fund the secretariat and enable them to progress our work. It also allows the Alliance to be responsive and commission work which fits within the priorities, pushing the race equality agenda forward.
Our Members
The Alliance is made up of a diverse group of funders working together to help achieve race equality in the UK.
Our members invest in different areas of the race equality agenda, from the consequences to the root causes. Together, we work to keep race equality a priority in our grant-making and decision-making.
